My Name
My name is Jessica, but only my mother is aloud to call me that. You can call me Jessi. I'm 23 years old, mother of a happy-go-lucky two year old little girl, named Amelie, and a wife of a wonderful and handsome man named Bo.
My Blog
This is my diet blog. I've tried others before and have failed. I have to keep track of what I have eaten and this is my way of doing it. Feel free to comment and make suggestions.
My Goal
My long term goal is to lose 150 pounds. Yes, I am aware that is a lot, but I have to lose a lot too. I have had many problems due to being overweight including: PCOS, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, migraines, depression, anxiety, fatigue, and a few others left to name.
My Life
I was born and raised in Panama City, FL. I've been here all my life. I graduated from A. Crawford Mosley High School in 2003. I got married May 21, 2005 and had my first child November 26, 2005. Today, I am a stay at home mother and an army wife, trying to get by day to day as normal as possible. Which, if you know me, you know how hard that can be! I love my family, my friends, and my life. There are just a few changed I want to make to it, starting with my weight.
My Future, My Dreams.
I grew up in ballet class. I loved it so much. Then, there came a time in middle school that I had to give up the thing I loved to make the grade. I quit ballet and from there on, my life became harder. I gained weight, a lot of weight. Now, a high school graduate of five years, my dream is to lose that weight and get back into ballet and continue my dreams. I've always wanted to be a prima ballerina, but even if I cannot achieve that dream, I want ballet to be involved in my future.
Days 10 & 11

Okay, Okay, I know I haven't posted in two days, but I've been busy. Here are the past two days of what I ate and exercised. I haven't posted today's because I haven't finished the day yet, so it will probably be posted some time tomorrow.

Day 10

Ate:
One whole wheat Eggo waffle
1 sandwich on whole wheat bread (Health Nut), 2 slices of fat free turkey, 1 slice of Provolone cheese
2 chicken nuggets
1 turkey burger with fat free mozzarella cheese on whole wheat bun with ketchup and mustard
20 baked french fries

Drank:
4 cups of 2% milk
2 cups of sweet tea
Lots of water

Exercise:
30 minutes of Abs class
1.5 miles on the stationary bike

Other:
10 minutes in the tanning bed
20 minutes in the sauna

Day 11

Ate:
90 calories Kellogg's bar
1 bread stick
1 grilled chicken salad from Po Folks w/ranch dressing
1 grilled chicken salad from McDonald's w/ranch dressing

Drank:
2 cups of 2% milk
Lots of water

Exercise:
1 hr Jazzerball class
3 sets of 20 of outer thigh workout
3 set of 20 calf workout
3 sets of 20 of inner thigh workout
3 set of 20 of chest workout
3 set of lower back workout
3 sets of 20 glutes workout

Other:
10 minutes in the tanning bed
10 minutes in the sauna



Don't think I did too bad. Probably should cut back on the ranch dressing a bit.

Ate:
1 whole wheat Eggo waffle
1 piece of KFC
4 cups of chicken and yellow rice
1 chocolate stick
1 sandwich on whole wheat bread (Health Nut), grape jam, and light margarine


Drank:
2 cups of 2% milk
2 cups of orange juice
4 cups of tea
Lots of water

Exercise:
1.5 miles spinning/cardio
2 sets of 20 of outer thigh workout
1 set of 20 calf workout
2 sets of 20 of inner thigh workout
1 set of 40 leg stretches (20 each leg)
1 set of 20 of upper arm workout
1 set of 20 of lower arm workout
1 set of 20 of chest workout
1 set of 20 shoulder workout
1 set of lower back workout

So I didn't do to wonderful yesterday. I shouldn't have eaten that chocolate stick (it was kinda yuck anyway...I won't have another) and I shouldn't have had that piece of KFC. Other than that it wasn't so bad. I should really cut back on my intake of tea, though.

I also met with my PT. She told me that as of now, I have to give up hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza, and fried foods. Sounds easy, right? Erg. I love pizza.

I've also decided to start a new diet as of Sunday. Why not today or tomorrow? Because I have to go grocery shopping to start the diet. It's going to be a mostly liquid diet. I am going to be eating only smoothies, low fat/fat free yogurt, Jell-O, milk (only 2 cups a day), and water. Then, if I do go out to eat, I am only having a salad. I have decided if I keep this up, I can reach my goal weight by August or September. I will be getting all my necessary nutrients from this because of the things in the smoothie. Wish me luck and keep me in your prayers that I don't give into temptation. It's so hard.

Ate:
1 sandwich on whole wheat bread (Health Nut), 2 slices of fat free turkey, 1 slice of Colby cheese
1 package of 90 calorie cheddar and sour cream puffs
1 package of fat free pretzels
4 cups of chicken and yellow rice


Drank:
2 cups of 2% milk
2 cups of orange juice
2 cups smoothie (1 banana, 1 cup of vanilla yogurt, a splash of OJ, and a splash of POM)
Lots of water

Exercise:
30 minutes ab workout

Other:
10 minutes in the tanning bed


I know I should have worked out more, but I had Bible class tonight so I couldn't stay at the gym long. I also haven't been able to start my Kum Nye. I have just been so tired and I have to get up so early, but I am working on it.

I meet with my PT tomorrow and I plan on working out a bit more at the gym.

Day 7

Ate:
1/2 a banana
3 breadsticks
8 cups of salad from Olive Garden
5 small shrimp
1 sandwich on whole wheat bread (Health Nut), 2 slices of fat free turkey, 1 slice of Colby cheese
5 grapes


Drank:
2 cups of 2% milk
2 cups of orange juice
Lots of water

Exercise:
1 hr of pilates class
200 crunches
3.5 miles on the stationary bike

Other:
10 minutes in the tanning bed
20 minutes in the sauna

Think I did alright yesterday. I shouldn't have ate so much salad at Olive Garden, but I was starving. I ordered a shrimp something or another from the weight watchers list...I ate the shrimp, but the rest of it was nasty...so I ate more salad. Anyhow, I am going back to work today and Amelie and Sarah-Kate's ballet class starts again today...so I will get some exercise in that too. Then I have an abs class at 4pm. Right now, I am enjoying my breakfast smoothie! Yum!

Ate:
1/2 a banana
1 small burritos with ground turkey
1/4 cup of fat free mozzarella cheese
1/2 table spoon of fat free refried beans
1 package of 90 calorie cheddar and sour cream puffs
A handful of grapes


Drank:
4 cups of 2% milk
2 cups of orange juice
Lots of water

Exercise:
120 lower back workout
120 thing workout
1 mile on the treadmill
3 miles on the stationary bike

Other:
10 minutes in the tanning bed
10 minutes in the sauna

I think I did really good today. I tried to make up for all the pizza I ate and all the calories I took in drinking. I didn't eat much, but I did eat enough that I wasn't starving. I also see my personal trainer Wednesday and then every six weeks after that. But my online personal trainer, is doing a great job staying on my butt. I love you, Erik!! Thank you so much! Can't wait to see you again!

Day 5 - Shame on Me

Oh my freakin' gosh. I am going to fucking kill myself if Erik doesn't do it first after reading this blog. I am so ashamed of myself. Yesterday was going really well...until last night.

My friends and I had a girls night in. Yeah, I should have not drank. I know there are a lot of calories in alcohol. I was bad. I put down two drinking glasses of margaritas, 3 drinking glasses of rum and coke (and it wasn't even fucking diet), and probably about a total of six random shots...not to forget to mention that when I was totally wasted I started drinking rum straight from the fucking bottle!!

No wait, it gets worse.

I had 6 slices of fucking cheese pizza. Thanks a lot Eva!! You and your stupid credit cards. Hah. No, I am not going to blame someone else for this...it was all me.

Other than that shit, which by the way, I am totally feeling this morning, here is how my day went.

Ate:
1 cup of low fat vanilla yogurt with fresh blueberries
1/2 a banana
5 baked chicken nuggets
1 chicken spicy wing
a handful of corn chips with salsa
2 small burritos with ground turkey
1/2 cup of fat free mozzarella cheese
1 tablespoon of fat free sour cream
1 table spoon of fat free refried beans


Drank:
2 cups of 2% milk
2 cups of sweet tea
2 cups smoothie (1 banana, 1 cup of vanilla yogurt, a splash of OJ, and a splash of POM)
Lots of water

Exercise:
30 minutes of Step class
30 minutes of Abs class
20 minutes of Toning class
100 crunches

I feel awful today (and still slight drunk). When 1 o'clock rolls around, I am hitting the gym and doubling up my work out. I really am furious with my self today. I can't believe I actually did that shit. Fuck me.
