My Name
My name is Jessica, but only my mother is aloud to call me that. You can call me Jessi. I'm 23 years old, mother of a happy-go-lucky two year old little girl, named Amelie, and a wife of a wonderful and handsome man named Bo.
My Blog
This is my diet blog. I've tried others before and have failed. I have to keep track of what I have eaten and this is my way of doing it. Feel free to comment and make suggestions.
My Goal
My long term goal is to lose 150 pounds. Yes, I am aware that is a lot, but I have to lose a lot too. I have had many problems due to being overweight including: PCOS, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, migraines, depression, anxiety, fatigue, and a few others left to name.
My Life
I was born and raised in Panama City, FL. I've been here all my life. I graduated from A. Crawford Mosley High School in 2003. I got married May 21, 2005 and had my first child November 26, 2005. Today, I am a stay at home mother and an army wife, trying to get by day to day as normal as possible. Which, if you know me, you know how hard that can be! I love my family, my friends, and my life. There are just a few changed I want to make to it, starting with my weight.
My Future, My Dreams.
I grew up in ballet class. I loved it so much. Then, there came a time in middle school that I had to give up the thing I loved to make the grade. I quit ballet and from there on, my life became harder. I gained weight, a lot of weight. Now, a high school graduate of five years, my dream is to lose that weight and get back into ballet and continue my dreams. I've always wanted to be a prima ballerina, but even if I cannot achieve that dream, I want ballet to be involved in my future.

Day 17

Ate:
1 rotisserie chicken salad with ranch dressing
90 calorie bar (Quaker Chocolate Chip)
2 cups of spaghetti
1 Activia fat free yogurt (peach)
1 bag of 90 calorie popcorn

Drank:
2 cups of smoothie (1 cup of low fat vanilla yogurt, 1 cup pineapple, 1/2 banana, 1/2 cup of OJ)
1/2 bottle vitamin (energy)
2 cups of 2% milk
1 bottle of cola Celsius
Lots of water

Exercise:
30 mins ab class
15 mins on the treadmill
1.5 miles on the stationary bike
3 set of 15 of upper arm workout
3 set of 15 of lower arm workout
3 set of 20 of chest workout
3 set of 20 shoulder workout

Other:
1 mins of planks

In a crossover study each subject gets both the “real” substance and the placebo. For example in this study each subject was investigated drinking Celsius and then tested after drinking the placebo. The order in which a subject was tested was random. Sounds complex, but that’s why it is the Gold Standard and we wanted to be certain Celsius met the Gold Standard.

Metabolism is the chemical and physical processes continuously going in your body, much like an internal furnace. Unfortunately not all of us have metabolisms that process at the same rate. 1 chicken salad sandwhich
1/4 cup of tomato and cucumber salad with vintager
1 BLT grilled chicken salad with ranch dressing(from McDonalds)
1 slice of pizza

Drank:
1 cup of 2% milk
1 bottle of cola Celsius
Lots of water

Exercise:
30 mins spinning class
100 crunches
3 set of 20 of inner thigh workout
3 set of 20 of outer thigh workout
3 set of 20 of glutes workout
3 set of 20 of inner calf workout
3 set of 20 of outer calf workout


Other:
15 mins in tanning bed

So these past couple days, I should have probably eaten better. I start seeing my dietitian on Monday to work things out. I just feel so hungry all the time. Anyhow, I promise I will do better this weekend. I am going out to lunch with a friend today, but I am going to eat something healthy. As far as the slice of pizza, my husband's friend did it. He kept showing it to me and taunting me with it. My will power finally gave in. I wish he hadn't told me it was even in the house!! Poop.

Ate:
1 Activia fat free yogurt (peach)
5 Dorito's Cool Ranch
90 calorie bar (Quaker Chocolate Chip)
1.5 push up ice cream (90 calories each...so a total of 135 cal)

Drank:
2 cups of smoothie (1 cup of 2% milk, 6 oz OJ concentrate, 1 tsp vanilla extract)
1 bottle Kellogg's Protein Water (tropical punch)
Lots of water

Exercise:
1 hr of Zumba class
12.5 mins on the treadmill
5.5 miles on the stationary bike
3 set of 15 of upper arm workout
3 set of 15 of lower arm workout
3 set of 15 of chest workout
3 set of 15 shoulder workout

Other:
10 mins in the sauna
15 mins in the tanning bed

So, I spent a total of four hours at the gym today. Boy, let me tell you, my feet ache, and my back. Sheesh. The Zumba class about killed me. I'm ready for bed!! Probably should lay off the Dorito's and ice cream, though.

14 fried corn chips (from Taco Bell)
1 sandwich on whole wheat bread (Health Nut), fat free turkey, and provolone cheese

Drank:
2 cups of smoothie (1 cup of 2% milk, 6 oz OJ concentrate, 1 tsp vanilla extract)
1 bottle Kellogg's Protein Water (strawberry kiwi)
2 cups pink lemonade
Lots of water

Exercise:
30 minute ab class
500 crunches

Other:
20 mins in the sauna
15 mins Kum Nye

Okay, I about killed myself about those fried corn chips. When I ate them, I had no idea they were fried..I thought they were just regular corn chips. Then Jasmine came out and told me. I was like OMG!!!! I wanted to turn back time. I also, about dinner time, got really, really hungry and I had a headache, so I went ahead and had a sandwich. I know, not good, but I was starving. I tried to make up for it in crunches last night and I will work hard tonight at the gym. No solid food for me today, either. Bad me.

1 Caesar side salad with Caesar dressing (from Wendy's)

Drank:
2 cups of smoothie (1.5 cup of 2% milk, 1 frozen banana, 1 tbsp vanilla extract, 1/4 tbsp almond extract)
2 cups of 2% milk
1 bottle Kellogg's Protein Water (lemon)
1.5 cups light lemonade
Lots of water

Exercise:
2.37 miles on stationary bike
1hr pilates class

Other:
15 mins tanning bed


Not too bad today. Did extra on the stationary bike because I ate the sandwich...but we were out and in a hurry. Anyway, I lost 8lbs! Woohoo! And that was with my clothes and shoes on!! Go me!!

2 cups of smoothie (.5 cup of 2% milk, 1 cup frozen mixed berries, 1/4 cup of low fat vanilla yogurt)
2 cups of 2% milk
1 bottle Kellogg's Protein Water (mixed berry)
Lots of water

Exercise:
100 crunches
stretches

Other:
Heavy house cleaning


So, I did alright. I probably should of had the oyster crackers or the grilled chicken strips, but I was soooooo hungry!! Besides, Amelie didn't like the chicken strips and it would be just bad to waste *wink*.

Anyhow, so far so good today. Getting back to the gym tonight. Got my pilates class.

1.5 hrs cleaning out my car

Okay, so here is what happened. I missed the Total Body Fusion class yesterday morning because I had to go to my Stampin' Up Club meeting. So, since I knew the childcare closed at 1pm, I got a sitter. I drove all the way over to the gym, go up to the front door to see that they closed at 2pm. It was 2:05pm. The paper I had said they were open until 6pm, but well, apparently the paper was wrong! Grr! I was so mad! So, since I had a sitter, I went and cleaned my car out. It really needed it anyway. I said to myself, "Well, I guess I will just do some working out tonight while Amelie is asleep." But I ended up going to my Mom's and we went to Wal-Mart and I didn't get home until about 9pm and I updated this blogger because if I went any longer not posting, I would have forgotten what I did. Then I laid down with Amelie and fell asleep. Ugh. I have church this morning, but I really plan on getting some heavy house work done today. I can't make it to the gym because I will have Myleigh for the hours they are open today. So I am going to try my hardest to workout during nap and/or while Amelie is asleep tonight. Ugh. BTW, yesterday was the first day I missed the gym in 11 days. Poo.
